31 Jan - 1 Feb: The Puzzle Quilt (Beginner to Intermediate) - Supply List
This class distills twenty years of complex quilt making into simple theories that explain my idiosyncratic patchwork sensibility and define my way of thinking about fabric. I promise: you will see possibilities in fabric in a whole new way.
Cost is $150 per student.
1 Feb: Guild Meeting: Symmetry and Surprise
2 Feb - 4 Feb: Through a Quilted Kaleidoscope (Intermediate to Advanced) - Supply List
The kaleidoscope configuration provides insight into the nature of symmetry and intricately printed fabrics. This class is both a process and a product class. On day 1, students learn my process and techniques. On days 2 and 3, students will work on their own design, focusing on both color and fabric guidelines for creating the complex and mobile reflection of a kaleidoscope.
Cost is $250 per student.
Note: Holiday Inn is offering a special room rate of $107.87 (including tax) per night, for those who want to spend the night(s) during the class. Two students can share a room and share the cost. Individual students will need to make their own arrangements with the hotel.
