The October meeting consisted of the holiday fabic exchange, business meeting, unveiling of our 2009 quilt, quilts from the Mission of Hope workshop, show and tell and the batting sampler project. Those of us who participated received 30 plus 2" strips of batting to assemble into one long panel. We are to then stitch across the panel to see how the different battings feel when quilted. It is amazing how many different kinds of batting there are and how different they feel.
