Go GREEN by joining Nellie to experiment with her collage
technique that recycles scraps of fabrics and threads, or "orts" as
the
British call them. Compose a small composition (no larger than 12"x
10") from a heap of bits and pieces contributed by Nellie and fellow
class members during the first half of the workshop. Finish it by
learning Nellie's method for machine quilting with invisible thread as
well as binding the edge in her couched yarn technique during the
second half. Take home a "green" quilt, or two, at the end
of the day.
